IntakeOS

The first mile of any service business, built once and built right

Mission
Give every service business a first mile that never drops what a client hands it.
Vision
Intake as infrastructure: one proven foundation under many industries, instead of a fragile form in front of each.

Mission

Every service business begins the same way: someone shows up with a need, and the business has to capture it correctly. That first mile decides everything after it. Get intake wrong and the error travels downstream through the whole engagement, getting more expensive at every step.

Most intake systems are built twice badly instead of once well. A form gets thrown together for one industry, patched for the next client, and quietly becomes a liability nobody wants to touch. IntakeOS is the opposite bet: intake is a general problem, so solve it generally.

The foundation is deliberately unglamorous. Typed, so the shape of the data is a contract rather than a hope. Tested, so changes can be made without fear. Industry-agnostic, so the same core serves a law office and a contractor without either inheriting the other’s assumptions.

Where it stands

IntakeOS is in active build, and its origin matters. It was not designed on a whiteboard. It was extracted from real production work, where intake had to survive real clients and real edge cases, then rebuilt as a clean general foundation. The patterns earned their place before they were generalized.

Roadmap

The near-term work is finishing the foundation to its own standard: full typing, full test coverage, and a core that makes no industry-specific assumptions. After that, IntakeOS becomes the first mile under the other products in the portfolio, each one a proof that the general foundation holds.

The goal is quiet reliability. Intake done right is invisible. It is only ever noticed when it fails, so the job is to make sure it never is.
