CompliApp

Background screening where compliance is built into the workflow

Mission
Make the compliant path the only path a background screening can take.
Vision
Screening operations where no adverse action ever ships with a missing legal step.

Mission

Background screening is not a report. It is a legal process. FCRA compliance requires specific steps in a specific order: disclosures, authorizations, pre-adverse and adverse action notices, waiting periods. Most operations enforce that sequence with training and memory. Memory fails on busy days, and busy days are when the volume comes.

CompliApp takes a different position. Compliance is not a checklist beside the workflow. Compliance is the workflow. The platform is built so the legally required steps are enforced by the software itself. A screening cannot skip a disclosure, because the next step does not exist until the disclosure is done. The process will not let a user be out of compliance, no matter how rushed the day.

Multi-tenancy is part of the same discipline. Each organization’s data lives behind hard boundaries, because a screening platform that leaks between tenants has failed at the same thing it sells: handling sensitive information correctly.

Where it stands

CompliApp is in active build. The FCRA process model is the spine of the product, and the current work is making that spine rigid in the right places: enforced sequences, correct notices, tenant isolation that holds under pressure.

Roadmap

The near-term work is completing and hardening the enforced workflow end to end. In a platform like this, the compliance engine is not a feature to add later. It is the foundation everything else stands on.

From there, the roadmap adds the operational layer: reporting, integrations, and the tooling that makes a screening team faster, without ever offering them a shortcut around the law.
